Who Am I? That's a secret I'll never tell...

Good day Earthlings,
Adolescence is often the age when you look for yourself, when you don't really know who you are. But if fact, deep inside, you exactly know who you really are. Actually, this is the others that make you change your mind but don't be afraid of being yourself, because the world is much more interesting if everyone is different than if we'd all follow the same style, the same ideas, the same look, the same rules... Deep inside yourself you can see if you like this hat, or this jacket, if you really wanna make this job, even if the others don't . Who are the real friends who think about you first, who listen to you, who care about you? Do you really wanna spend the rest of you life close to them, close to your family or isn't this a priority? Can you leave it all and start a new life? or can't you? Who are the people who always talk about themselves and never listen? Can you really keep doing this? Do it all as if nothing happen while your personality slowly disappear...? One day, everyone you know now will be far from you... and, as you'll watch back, you'll see everything you've missed by not being yourself. There's no rule for this. You know who you are. Deep inside. And you know what you wanna be. Don't tell this to anyone. Just act. and make the real yourself surface...stop hiding and everything will be for the better...

20th favourite place: TAORMINA, SICILY, ITALY

Good Evening Earthlings, Nick here! Even if you think you've never heard of Taormina before just know that you certainly already have seen it on TV/Cinema because this little village _ perched at the top of a rock on the Eastern Coast of Sicily, Italy and facing one of the world's most famous volcano, the Mount Etna_ is one of the sets of the movie The Big Blue (Le Grand Bleu). And even if its Roman Theater is replaced in the movie by a dolphin park which never existed here, it's clear that the entrance of this park is actually the entrance of the theater. This theater attract every year millions of visitor to this little village where cars can't arrive in because the road stops way before! the small streets full of great shops lead to the theater and at the top of it you are awarded by stunning views to Etna and the Mediterranean Sea... Little things human beings do when getting bored alone... (part 1)

Good day Earthlings, Nick here!
You all have staid alone at home at least once in your life... and even if each of you is different from the other, you can be sure that we ALL the same sins when staying alone and getting bored!!! here's the proof... those who feel guilty rise your hand!
1- Turn the music to the maximum because no one's here to tell you that you have neighbors
2- turn on the TV, and occasionally sit down in front of it
3- automatically go and open the fridge
4- turn on the computer
5- work very quickly, or instead read a book
6- watch a DVD
7- automatically go and open the fridge
8- Play the guitar, piano or Tetris
9- call your friends
10-automatically go and open the fridge
11- go to the toilets
12- automatically go and open the fridge
13-watch a stupid TV program
14- go out, get bored, come back
15- automatically go and open the fridge
16- change the CD-that-was-running-in-the-HiFi-at-the-maximum
17-have a shower
18-call someone else
19- automatically go and op... NO WAIT! someone rang at the door! but you are alone. you look into the "eye" and see a weird guy selling calendars and pretend that no one's here even if "Coldplay" is running behing...well!OK! you pretend that you haven't heard it!
20- automatically go and open the fridge (finally!)
21- change yourself, take a picture of you and post it on Facebook as your new profile pic'
22- create a blog

21st favourite place: PALERMO, SICILY, ITALY and its area.

Good day Earthlings, Nick here!
The City of Palermo is the first place you see arriving in Sicily, but it's also one of the most impressive of this beautiful Island... With its brilliant past and its incredible architecture, the capital of the autonomous region of Sicily has always known so far how to impress tourists in spite of the earthquakes and the turbulent events that occurred in here...
The first important place to visit in Palermo is the Palace of Normands which is the "Headquarter" of the power in Palermo. (picture on the upper right). After having watched the mix of styles of the façade you still can walk to the marvelous cathedral (upper left), the place the most impressive of Palermo. and then, not that far you can find the "Four Corners" Crossroads (lower right), with its 4 similar façades. Finally just outside the city, the cathedral of Monreale (lower left) and its peristyle are totally great... oh! I was about to forget the Palermo's catacombs with the very-well-conserved bodies inside... Scary and totally great anyway... I see you in Palermo, you know you love it!

YOU SAID FRIENDS?

Good evening Earthlings. Nick here.
Do you know that in French, like in English, you make a distinction between two kinds of friends.
In one hand, you've got what they call "copain" (Pal in English) who is a friend you'll hang out with at school, you'll talk with, have fun with, and occasionally comfort. And in the other hand you've got what they call "ami" (Friend in English, with a capital F) who's the person who really knows you, the person that will not only wait FROM YOU but who will also give TO YOU. The person who'll take care of you every time, when you are fine, and when you're not, the person who will call you to make sure everything's O.K. and not only to know if you could help him or comfort him. A Pal doesn't have necessarily a double-sided-view of your relationship while the Friend will always make sure he'll act with you as you act with him. Pals are sometimes selfish, and can dump you when you're not useful any more or when you are not fine. Friends are never selfish, you will always be their priority #1 and Friends will never dump you. That doesn't mean you'll never have a clash with a friend. But a clash with a Pal can last your all life, while a clash with a Friend can last a moment and be wiped out. Friends are those who NEVER criticize or gossip about you in your back, who never says something bad about you in your back and who are ready to face an assembly to defend you. Pals are not. Now, watch yourself. Are you a Pal? Are you a Friend?
In our world today real Friendship is hard to find. People are hypocritical, and over all selfish. They only think about themselves and when they need you, you are here for them but the reciprocal situation is not always true. That doesn't mean you have to run away and dump all your pals. That simply mean that Pals are not Friends, that you like pals and you love friends, that pals can hurt you simply by talking, friends cannot because what they'll say will be true (coz they really know you)...
In my entire life I can only say I have had few real friends. My BFF (best friend forever) is a girl whose name is A*****. Even though we fight sometimes, she'll always be my BFF. I know her since I'm 4 and never in my life I really have been disappointed by her. I know she'll always be there for me and she knows I'll always be there for her, whatever happens, she's my BFF. She has her defects, but after all I have mine, but at least she's not "just a pal" she's way more...she's a real Friend.
Now, who are you really? Who are the real friends you can REALLY count on? Thereupon, I let you meditate...
PS- don't forget, even if people are not your FRIENDS they still can be your PAL! That is not bad either. Your happiness is made of pals, your every-day-life can't be without your pals and I say Hi to all my pals coz I like them. Being a pal is good, it's way better than being an enemy...You know that, because, like I said, Friendship is double, you've got your pals, you've got your friends and you've got yourself ...

22nd Favourite Place: CAVALAIRE-SUR-MER, VAR, FRANCE

Good morning Earthlings, Nick here.
The place I'll present you today is a very special one in my heart. Cavalaire-sur-mer (Cavalaire upon Sea) is THE place I'm going quite every summer with my family... and trust me this is the place to be for everyone if you wanna have fun. 10 miles from Saint Tropez, 2.5miles of white-sand-beach, blue turquoise calm water, sun, heat, hot and young people, food everywhere, stunning views onto the Mediterranean Sea...Well, paradise on Earth!^^ and if you're getting bored no problem, Saint Tropez is not that far...! Plus, from C-S-M you can do many activities: hiking in the mountains, bathing at the beach, boat, jetski, scubba-diving... well, now that I school has started again, it's time to dream and to wait for a next summer in Cavalaire Sur Mer.

BACK TO SCHOOL....

here we are Earthlings,
now, at mid-October, we can say quite without mistake that every kid on the planet is Back to School! what's kind of funny with first days of school is that some people love this day, and some hate it...and some finally, can't choose!
Coz after all, the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL is the occasion of making a start over, of changing everything, from your look to your scholar items. I mean, come on guys, you know you love to shop at WalMarts and other Carrefours to buy new sheets and copybooks for the new year. And don't forget the most important, the Diary! For some of you it will be a stylish diary with a typically-teenager-look or for the others it will be the most simple diary you'll find to be later able to customize it, during a particularly boring lesson! the day before the first at school is the day you fill the last forms you need to create your own future.... The 'Back-To-School-Week' is a very important moment.

But for the others it means teachers, lessons, wake-up-at-6.30, subway, stress, exams.... and even if friends are here your enemies are here too...again! well remember what said Lynette in DH: "Be close to your friends, be closer to your enemies"...

23rd Favourite place: BIARRITZ, PA, FRANCE

Hello Earthlings, Nick here!
Well, a couple of days ago I was talking to U about my favourite places in the World SO FAR. her is my 23rd: Biarritz,PA, France....

I've only been once to Biarritz, but I got fabulous memories about it...What's pretty cool in Biarritz is the mix of cultures you have. located between mountain, ocean and forest it's a fantastic starting point to discover the Pyrenees and/or surf the waves of Main Beach. for those who prefer luxury and money you still can walk through the Casino facing the ocean and for those who like visits the VIRGIN ROCK and its Gustave Eiffel-made bridge (yeah G.Eiffel! the one of the tower) or the seafront are beautiful..... of course surfing is the most famous attraction here so try to learn it to impress your friends and say proudly "I surf the waves of Biarritz...."

Why to write a blog ?
Well first of all to let you get to know the real me, my real personality. But MOREOVER, a blog is an excellent way to remember. I explain. Look at the blue sky... In your mind the sky's always been blue....I mean... THIS blue. But in fact you ARE WRONG! perception changes with time. When you were a kid, you didn't see the sky THAT blue, you didn't hear the MACARENA with the same enthusiasm, you didn't feel a bath in the sea the same way... everything changes with time. We learn, we forget, we love, we hate.... if you write down a list of things now, of things you love.... take it in ten years after writing down a second one.... the top of your list will be different and so will be the bottom because between those two lists, you will have discovered things and forget others... At least, in 2025, when I come back onto this blog if it still exists I will remember those people I love, those places I love. I will remember that Bonifacio was #24, that "I just go out here and do it MY WAY" was my favourite quote....this blog is a way to remember and to discver the everyday-feelings of a normal mid-16-aged teenager, a way to think about real life, what really matters. If you start reading this blog just be prepare to become addict because it's not talking just about MY life but also about YOURS... This blog is about everyday-problems, my ways to get them belong to the past, about my feelings... This blog is simply...about life.......

24th favourite place: BONIFACIO, CORSE, FRANCE

I've only been once to Bonifacio, but in my memory this place was fabulous. The deep blue sea was slowly moving at the bottom of those cliffs, and over the cliffs the village was spreading with amazing charms.... I'll never forget the boat tour I made from the harbour to the caves. what they call the "Calanques of Bonifacio" are certainly one of the most maravellous natural wonder and in that place the feeling of harmony with nature is complete. Plus you're under the permanent sunshine of Corsica so enjoy what is certainly the most charming village of the "Island of Beauty"...
